In traditional times, women were attended in birth by the wise woman of her village, the healer, the midwife, the one who had been before and come back! With years of experience - attending births, raising children, having traveled to the depths of my own soulful journey and made the return, it is my privilege, my work, my calling to help you through the transformation from maiden to mother.
Although women have been giving birth throughout the ages, at no other time in our history has there been so much information available about pregnancy, birth and parenting. Through the use of technology, the internet, books and magazines, blogs and social media, parents are often overwhelmed with information – much of which is helpful and some not so helpful. In WiseBirthWays prenatal classes and doula care services, you will find an oasis of quiet – a place to turn within and uncover your own deep knowing – your own Wise Way to Birth.
